Greetings and God bless you. Welcome to my page. My name is Jonathan and I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I have been a Christian for 35 years having accepted Christ around age 10. I attend Shady Oaks Baptist Church in Hurst Tx. I serve the church in the children’s ministry working with our preschoolers.

I’m currently studying for my Masters in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. This is my first semester and I’m so excited to see where God will lead me during and after my training.

My intent is to obtain my counselors license and either become a hospice chaplain and work with families coming to terms with the end of life, or with recovering alcoholics/addicts to help them see that with Jesus they can be free from chemical bondage and live a greater more fulfilling life in knowing God. I have first hand experience with hospice and alcoholism and pray that my testimony and personal experience can bless and encourage others. Perhaps both scenarios can become a reality as I answer the call of God and minister to his people.
